Recovery isn’t something you think your way into.

  • Emotional, physical, and relational distress often isn’t the result of a lack of insight.
It’s the result of unresolved attachment and trauma stored outside conscious awareness.

  • Your clients already know their patterns are hurting them. So why don’t those patterns change?

  • Because many of the forces driving emotion and behavior live in implicit memory—woven into the autonomic nervous system, the threat response cycle, and early states of emotional regulation. These systems don’t respond to logic.

  • They respond to experience.

In This Workshop, You’ll Learn How To:...

  • Work directly with implicit (non-conscious) memory

  • Use interoception in therapy to observe and change distress in real time

  • Support implicit repair of relational ruptures

  • Interrupt threat-based emotional and behavioral cycles at their source

  • Help clients move toward secure attachment and physiological regulation

  • Restore access to a person’s essential self

This is not about adding more techniques.
It’s about aligning your work with how to support clients how to accurately predict safety, connection, and stability.

About Implicit Psychotherapy

When I wrote my dissertation in the early 2000's I was inspired by luminaries who were talking about implicit, or non-consciously encoded, memory.  Being curious, I realized they were using research from neuroscience and applying it to psychology practice.  With a committee that included Dr. Daniel Siegel, I began the deeper inquiry into if as therapists we can interact with non-conscious memory and how.  Through decades of teaching and clinical experience I've distilled a powerful training that equips therapists and psychologists with simple tools and exercises that encodes new learning in implicit memory.  Through procedural memory exercises, interception, and implicit inference you can gift your clients with a profoundly new foundation.

“I truly love this workshop and appreciate the integration of somatic and Jungian elements. Deeply meaningful, professionally and personally.”
